We gather as Christians from diverse backgrounds to encourage and support one another to have a maximum impact on pressing problems including:

What attendees do

Attendees will:

💬 Discuss evidence-based ways to tackle important, nonpolarized problems near God’s heart.

🎯Create plans for impact through their careers and donations.

🙌 Share faith and encouragement, “spurring one another on toward love and good deeds” (Hebrews 10:24-25).

  • We can provide $200 in travel and accommodation support for applicants who are funding constrained and would greatly benefit from attending.

  • Effective altruism (EA) is the idea of using reason and evidence to find the very best ways to do good, and to take action on that basis. It is also a movement that has formed around this idea. CFI / EA for Christians engages as the Christian voice within the broader secular EA movement.

  • We’re keen to have Christians using reason and evidence to tackle pressing problems, and we recognize our list is not comprehensive. We encourage you to come; however, we expect most of the value will be for Christians who are at least interested in or sympathetic to our cause areas.
